There is something to be said about synchronicity; energies and the way they intersect on paths that could only be maneuvered to cross by God’s hands. No barrier is too big for you. God, beyond barriers; language, distance, culture- how is it possible to feel so connected to a person or a place? Your intersections are ever so timely; not a second before or a minute later than they are supposed to cross. I marvel at this really. It is the coincidental incoincidental encounters that change us.
I can’t help but revert to a saying that I grew up with, “there are no such things as coincidences, only God’s way of remaining anonymous”. Pivotal points streaming from incoincidence that inspire shifts in outlook and growth. And so, only in reflecting you notice how, although sometimes bazaar, you were supposed to experience that person, or do that thing, at that very moment and exactly how it happened. I feel overwhelmed with gratitude for experiences like this, because you are never the same after. They make your heart softer, your eyes wider, and leave your hope refreshed.
It is said that sometimes those who come to leave the biggest impact in our lives may never come to be aware of it. God knows who these people will be before you can even dream them up. It is likewise with the role you will play in the lives of the people you will encounter throughout your journey of life. I would like to think that it is in these timely chance encounters that we become fully in touch with who we really are.
As I leave Italy today, a 9 day trip has left an impression on my heart. I see how a trip’s time constraint is not really a constraint at all, but a freeing time window in which you feel obligated to make every second to the millisecond count with those whom you connect with across barriers of distance, language, and culture. Why is it that when given a time “constraint” we innately act in the way we should always, in not taking even just a millisecond for granted?
God speaks to us in synchronicity, it’s his majestic way. In letting God take the wheel, you will continuously stand in awe of your life experiences. Remember that he places the desires in your heart. In seeking them, you will come to know him better and you will indefinitely come to know yourself and this is the greatest journey.
Ask this question more often; what is my instinct saying? And trust your answer without judgement. Don’t think, feel. Continue on your path, follow your heart, and don’t worry so much about how things will be perceived by people who are not equipped to understand. The impact of timely, synchronistic, encounters are supposed to deeply resonate in the ways that they do. How else do you think people are pushed, moved, directed to live the purely joyful life desired for you. Your direction, stems from a desire placed in your heart ~ listen to it.
