My name is Saramarie, but my favorite people call me Sab (my family) or Ms. Saramarie (my students). I am a tiny human teacher in East Harlem. Based in NYC, and building a life anchored in love and gratitude. Here I’ll share my musings, my 2 am ah-ha! moments of self-reflection, and my amateur wisdom that seems to evolve in my Notes app.

Many influences have interlaced to weave my spiritual journey, but perhaps the most quintessential is the driving force of Love. In every great moment of spiritual impact, whether a person, experience, or thing, there exists an underlying source of Love. Each day, I am continuously humbled as Love teaches me to be present, to see myself as God views his beloved beyond fault, and to act with kindness.

Do small things, with great love- that is my vocation. Through the choral noise of planning, and in the midst of big plans and waiting for big answers, a quiet voice calms the heart. A voice that says, “small things, great love”. My purpose is to live out the simple complexity of this mantra each day. I am here to seize opportunities to do just this. In the small things, we are being guided.
